I am a wine educator, wine writer and Texas wine podcaster. I’d love to customize a wine event in your home or business.
I am serious about wine, but I don’t take wine too seriously! My wine tasting events are interactive, informative, and engaging.
We focus not only on what’s in the glass, but also on winemaking basics, marketing, packaging, trends, food pairings, wine travel, navigating a wine list, and more. The history and people behind the wines are often as compelling as the wines themselves. I particularly love to tell the stories and introduce guests to the wines of family-owned wineries.
There are several ways to structure a wine tasting event at your home or at the location of your choice. I will work with you to develop the best format for your space and your guests.
Tasting events generally feature 5-6 wines and last 1.5-2 hours. Pricing starts at $350, plus the cost of the wine sampled. I suggest purchasing one bottle of each wine for every 10 guests. We can taste wines at the price point(s) of your choice or sample special wines from your personal cellar. I provide a tasting sheet that includes price and availability for each wine. Glassware available for rental.
I’m 100% independent, and I do not sell wine or get commission from wineries. I sample wines from any producer/winery, region, or retail shop I choose.

I am happy to help you craft a tasty menu or recommend a caterer if needed. Food can be as simple as purchased cheese/fruit/meat/cracker trays.
